The Outcomes Framework
The Outcomes Framework for CACs provides guidance for child abuse professionals working within MDTs/CACs to capture outcome data to support their work. Many funders and other potential supporters want to see outcome data showing their resources are being utilized effectively and efficiently and are having a positive impact on the community. This framework provides a beginning point for individual CACs, networks of CACs, Chapters, and national networks to choose measures appropriate to their needs.
The framework includes assessment tools and methods for the following areas:
- Quality of Life (Outcomes for Kids)
- Quality of Life (Societal Outcomes)
- Quality of Intervention (process)
- Quality of Organization (structure)
This framework gives CACs, whether individually or in conjunction with state or national groups, the opportunity to assess CAC outcomes, demonstrating for funders and other interested parties the impact a coordinated, collaborative, multidisciplinary response has on children and the broader community.
