Understanding Team Effectiveness – What MDTs can learn from Google

Google has made some valuable discoveries in understanding why some teams struggle while others succeed. This discussion will explore what lessons Google can offer the CAC and MDT world when it comes to complex teaming. The presenter will share techniques for building and sustaining an effective team by cultivating 5 key elements that help teams succeed.

Objectives

Participants will learn:

  • The unique challenges and benefits of the MDT model.
  • To explore the important role “safety” plays on teams and steps to cultivating a positive climate to support healthy team functioning.
  • Ways to add structure and clarity to their MDT, specifically around roles, on-boarding new members, and case review.

  1. Go to ncacvtc.org/#/login and click the Sign Up button.
